“There is a time for everything…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
In these days, when the weather changes abruptly, all of nature responds.
The trees change color—orange, red, purple—
as if obeying a new season. Without complaints. Without questions. They simply do it, because they know this is how they will be ready for what is coming.
For many months, green leaves showed signs of productivity, effort, and perseverance.
But now winter is approaching, and the trees know something important:
to keep producing would be to wear themselves out.
So they do something wise. hey let go of what has already fulfilled its purpose.
They allow the wind—sometimes gentle, sometimes strong— to carry away the leaves that have been with them for so long.
I’ve read a little about this, and as always, my good friend the Holy Spirit has been revealing some truths that I want to share with you today.
Did you know that those beautiful shades of orange, red, and gold were always there?
They just couldn’t be seen… or enjoyed…
until the season of rest arrived.
Close your eyes for a moment. Think about your life— these past months, this year that is about to come to an end. Did you work hard? Did you bear fruit? Did you strive to reach that dream? Do you need rest?
Perhaps there are gifts, skills, and talents within you that make you beautiful—
and that others are waiting to enjoy. But they will only be revealed when you choose to release what has already served its purpose.
When you allow the wind—gentle or strong—of the Holy Spirit
to carry away what no longer belongs.
Don’t fight it.
Don’t complain.
Don’t try to stay “green.”
Don’t pretend.
Don’t resist.
Keep trusting the process. Stop trying to hold everything togethe and allow Jesus to hold you in His arms.
I want to see your colors. just as I want to see mine. 🍂🍁🍃
Living each season, walking at His pace.
